Intermodal transport: Finding the best route

Intermodal transportation integrates road, rail, short and deep sea shipping, as well as inland waterway shipping, to determine the optimal route from a variety of possibilities. The purpose is to deliver the best freight rate and transit time possible.

Since 1991, Rhenus has been organizing intermodal container shipments to Central Asia. Today, we offer a variety of gateways to the region based on your preferred mode of transportation, cargo specifications, customs clearance, transportation equipment, and final delivery destination.
