Certified services for automobiles

Rhenus ports have substantial RoRo transshipment capabilities as well as ample parking and storage space for import, export, and transit vehicles. Each ship has the capacity to load up to 2,000 vehicles. Regular short sea connections ensure that your supply chain's handling times are kept to a minimum. Wax preservation, tyre pressure testing, battery testing, rust film removal, and vehicle washing with our fully automated car wash facilities are among the other services we provide.

RoRo loading

When moveable commodities are loaded using the RoRo method, they are loaded without having to roll between the terminal and the ship. This method guarantees a fast processing time and cheap handling expenses. Sea transportation also decreases road traffic, making it even more environmentally friendly.

Pre-delivery inspections

As part of our smart repair and maintenance solutions, we execute handover inspections and, if necessary, smaller services such as tyre pressure testing, battery testing, bearing cleaning, flash rust removal, and dewaxing.

Conservation of vehicles

Wax preservation gives long-term corrosion resistance. The voids of the car body and chassis are sealed during this process. We have a specialized workshop for corrosion and underbody protection for this reason.

Automated car wash

Industrial soiling, such as overhead line abrasion following rail carriage, is cleaned from the vehicles during this washing operation. In a completely mechanized car wash, this is a gentle cleaning process.
