This is an extremely important and prestigious visit, which will only enhance our reputation for excellence

The visit, which took place on Tuesday, March 12th at our Manchester depot, marks an important milestone in the company's commitment to excellence in customs compliance. The day's agenda included a presentation by Michael Morris, UK Compliance Officer, Rhenus Logistics, detailing the company’s AEO journey since 2011, as well as a tour of the Rhenus Manchester depot.

AEO status is an internationally recognised standard that shows your business’s role in the international supply chain is secure and has customs control procedures that meet specific standards and criteria, helping to speed up and de-risk customs processes.

"We are honoured to have been chosen to represent the UK in this prestigious visit, a testament to the strength and success of our recent AEO audit,” said Morris. “Achieving AEO accreditation is a cornerstone of our company’s competitiveness, serving as a vital link in our customers’ supply chains. We are delighted to be singled out in this way and look forward to further sharing our AEO expertise with our customers and the wider industry.”

“This is an extremely important and prestigious visit, which will only enhance our reputation for excellence,” added Rob Mulligan, UK Customs Manager, Rhenus UK. “We look upon this as a very proud moment within our AEO journey. We remain committed to upholding the highest standards in all areas, including site security, identification protocols, IT security, data protection, and visitor protocols."
