I am responsible for projects and processes, providing expert knowledge and support, monitoring progress and reporting on the status.

I began working for Rhenus in January 2006, so it is quite a long relationship now. Rhenus is not my first workplace, but the place I am the longest. This is a unique workplace where both professional and personal relations matter. I had no previous experience in logistics, however, the support and encouragement I received from my very first day, from both my work colleagues and management here in Dublin, helped me to learn the business and to progress professionally. I received similar support whilst working at the regional level. Our company motto: ‘Together with Passion’, is not just a slogan but a wise description of what Rhenus stands for by showing respect to all individuals and which encourages them to be passionate about their career and professional development.

The biggest challenge for me was when I moved from Poland to Ireland. Where I had to adapt to my new profession in logistics, learn the business and how to operate in a multinational environment. All whilst learning about my new country and its culture.

Over the years, I’ve been responsible for many projects, including the set-up of new services and businesses. However, probably the most exciting project was setting up the North Region Project & Process Office; as this was a new initiative, everything was created from scratch. It was an exciting but also challenging project, where I needed to utilise the experience I gained during my professional and personal development, management abilities and education. Naturally, I would not have accomplished this without the great support and encouragement of my colleagues and continuing management support.
