The Air & Ocean Division of Rhenus Italy, a leading company in integrated logistics, expands its branches in Calenzano and Campogalliano (Florence and Modena Areas), hiring new resources within the Business Unit.
The implementation of the Air & Ocean services in the Florence and Modena hubs is part of a wider policy aimed at the commercial development of the company in Central and Southern Italy.
The presence of two branches in central Italy is strategical for the connections and distribution of goods to and from the maritime areas of the Adriatic and Tyrrhenian Seas - in particular with the port cities of Ravenna, La Spezia and Genoa - and to offer a national coverage capable of connecting all major ports and airports in Italy.
"The strengthening of our Florence and Modena branches is fundamental for our expansion plan in Central and Southern Italy,” says Guglielmo Davide Tassone, Managing Director of Rhenus Italy. "The goal is to cover the territory in an increasingly capillary way, implementing an intermodal network that allows the connection with all the main port and airport infrastructures of the country".
"We have identified and hired new specialized resources to manage all tasks related to Air & Ocean Freight especially for the fashion, textile and mechanical industries, which are the flagship of the business environment of this geographical area. Among the many services offered by the Air & Ocean Division in central Italy we count the consolidated connections to and from the Far East for both complete and groupage shipments", explained Emanuele Orso, General Manager of Air & Ocean Division of Rhenus Italy.
Currently, Rhenus Italy counts 34 branches connecting the main hubs in Europe and non-EU countries with dedicated routes and different types of services including customs assistance.
