Rhenus Midi Data, the technical installation and distribution specialist, has set up a new 6.000 square metre logistics centre in the greater Munich area in Germany. The high-tech specialist will handle the warehousing and spare parts logistics for the wide range of products on behalf of Life Fitness.
The facility operated by Rhenus Midi Data will manage incoming goods, picking operations and dispatch items to Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy. Rhenus Midi Data will also manage the transport operations and, if necessary, install the high-value products at their final point of use; the venues range from health clubs to professional sports facilities.
Life Fitness has further streamlined its European logistics operations by selecting Rhenus Midi Data as its logistics partner.
