Rhenus Archive Services is taking over the customers, most of which are based in the German state of Hessen, and will gradually move their archive stocks to its own high-security filing facilities in Frankfurt/Main and Giessen.
“We want to continue developing with these customers and are certain that we’ll be able to provide professional support for our new customers, even in the light of all the challenges that the digital world is introducing in the field of document and information processes,” says Till-Martin Schuldt, Managing Director of Rhenus Archive Services.
The customers of Aktendepot Rhein-Main will benefit from a large number of services and higher security standards in future. All 15 security archives and the data centre operated by Rhenus Archive Services in Germany are certified in line with ISO 27001 for data and information security. The high-security archive in Frankfurt/Main also has certification consistent with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) for storing documents related to the pharmaceutical industry.
“I feel very strongly the need to hand over the good business relations with our customers, which have been established over many years, to a reliable, financially strong and future-oriented partner,” says Klaus Kipper, Managing Director of Aktendepot Rhein-Main, and adds, “We’ve been able to successfully handle the introduction of the GDPR at our company and introduce the necessary extensions to our business space with Rhenus.” Even after the takeover, he will remain in close contact with Rhenus Archive Services and will be the regional sales manager in Hessen in future.
