An on-board courier (OBC) is a courier responsible for personally accompanying important or time-sensitive deliveries so they arrive at their destination as quickly and directly as possible. The consignment is typically carried directly by the courier or transported in carry-on luggage. Commonly transported goods include documents, samples, prototypes as well as valuable jewelry or designer pieces.
For shipments that are especially urgent or valuable, hand-carry services provide a reliable and secure solution. Please be aware that weight and size limitations may differ depending on the route, airline, aircraft type and whether the shipment travels as checked or carry-on luggage. In most cases, packages are restricted to approximately 30 kilograms per piece, while maximum dimensions generally range between 120 and 160 centimeters in length, 80 and 120 centimeters in width and 80 and 100 centimeters in height. These figures are approximate and can vary according to specific airline or courier requirements. It is also necessary that shipments can be handled using standard luggage handling equipment during the entire transportation journey, including loading and unloading procedures. Based on the required timeframe and freight type, you can select from different express options and arrange additional value-added services.
Hand-carry delivery is not available for goods weighing over 32 kilograms per parcel or exceeding 290 centimeters in combined length, height and width. Additionally, hazardous goods, temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products and perishable goods are generally excluded.
To process your request as quickly as possible, we require details about the number of parcels, their individual dimensions and weights, along with the type of goods. We also need the delivery time, postal code, city or airport for both the pickup location and the final destination.
Based on the agreements arranged for your hand-carry services, you may receive regular updates through email or chat, or gain access to a dashboard created specifically for shipment tracking. Additionally, a customer service team is available 24 hours a day to answer your inquiries, and direct communication with the couriers is also possible.
