Customers expect quick and hassle-free delivery of their home and garden furnishings, mattresses, household appliances, sports equipment and other heavy and bulky items. Rhenus Home Delivery takes care of every logistical task, ensuring your customers are fully satisfied.
Our services begin with a centralized inbound delivery at a national distribution center, from which we distribute items to regional delivery locations according to the hub-and-spoke model. From there, the goods are delivered to the customer on the agreed upon delivery date. The inbound delivery can also be arranged directly with your manufacturers or suppliers. Our warehouses and staff are specially trained and equipped to handle your heavy and bulky goods. Additionally, we can store your goods in our multi-client or dedicated warehouses, offering you flexible storage and staffing solutions. You only pay for the space your items occupy.
Alternatively, you can choose regional inbound delivery, which directs your goods to regional distribution centers. This makes it possible for you to offer shorter delivery times for high-volume shipments or purely regional orders. If items are available locally, we can offer your customers same-day and next-day delivery with very short transit times. Final-mile delivery in all cases is directly to the room of choice and, in many countries, we also provide further optional services such as unpacking and packaging removal, assembly services and even disposal of old appliances and furniture.
Appointments can be arranged conveniently online, over the phone or, in some countries, even by WhatsApp. Narrow delivery windows communicated a day before the delivery make planning easier for your customers. With track & trace, your customers always know the status and, in many countries, the expected time of arrival of their shipment.
