In logistics for medical technology, technical equipment is used to ensure the safe and efficient transport and installation of medical devices. Patented special pallets and vehicles with hydraulic lifting platforms ensure gentle handling and safe transport. In addition, special equipment such as stair climbers and armored vehicles are used to safely move even heavy large devices. Stretch and bubble wrap, as well as corner protectors, provide additional protection during transport, while special plates protect the flooring at the destination. Installation tools support the professional assembly and installation of the equipment on site, so that both smaller instruments, such as ultrasound machines and endoscopes, and larger ones, such as surgical microscopes and large diagnostic equipment, arrive at their destination undamaged.
Various measures are in place to ensure the quality and safety of medical technology devices. We have a Germany-wide high-tech network and our own technical centers and specialized partners in Europe that carry out product-specific storage, as well as delivery, positioning and installation of the devices. Regular training courses guarantee high safety and quality standards. Many of our sites are certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001.
When medical technology is picked up, decontamination plays an important role in order to prevent any risk to employees. In the case of doctors' practices or hospitals, this is done by the sender. If the device is reprocessed, for example by demo pool management, we will clean and disinfect it. We also ensure that all patient data on their hard disks is deleted.
