An on-board courier (OBC) personally accompanies important or time-sensitive deliveries to ensure they reach their destination quickly and directly. Shipments are usually carried in the courier’s hand luggage. Typical goods transported this way include documents, samples, prototypes, valuable jewelry and designer pieces.
If your shipment is especially urgent or valuable, our hand carry services offer a reliable and secure solution. Please note that weight and size limits vary depending on the route, airline, aircraft type and whether the shipment travels as checked or carry-on luggage. In general, packages are limited to about 30 kg per piece, with maximum dimensions of roughly 120 to 160 centimeters in length, 80 to 120 centimeters in width and 80 to 100 centimeters in height. These figures are approximate and may differ depending on airline or courier restrictions. Shipments must also be compatible with standard luggage-handling equipment throughout the journey, including loading and unloading. Depending on the time frame and type of freight, you can select from a range of various express options and book additional value-added services.
Parcels weighing more than 32 kilograms or measuring more than 290 centimeters in length, height or width cannot be transported by a hand carrier. In addition, hazardous goods, temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals and perishable items are generally excluded.
To process your request quickly, we need details about the number of parcels, their dimensions and weight and the type of goods. We also require the delivery time, ZIP/post code, city or airport for both pickup and final destination.
Depending on the agreements made for your hand-carry services, you will receive regular notifications via email or chat or you can access a dedicated dashboard for shipment updates.
