Our Rhenus API (Application Programming Interfaces) is our standardized, industry-aligned interface and enables direct system integration to automate key logistics processes – from order creation to barcode generation and shipment tracking. It ensures efficient operations, easy integration and real-time visibility across your shipments.
Create and manage shipments directly from your system. Submit all necessary shipment details digitally, including references, addresses, service types and goods information.
When barcode fields are left empty, the API automatically generates SSCC barcodes and returns them in the response – ensuring compliance and eliminating manual work.
Shipment information can be accessed using the SOE number provided after order creation. This allows shipments to be tracked via the Rhenus Track & Trace system. Shipment status information can also be retrieved through the SOEP API, enabling connected systems to receive current shipment updates and process them within their own applications.
SOEP supports event-based notifications via webhook to enable automated communication for shipment updates. Customers can subscribe to shipment events and automatically receive notifications when a shipment status changes. This reduces the need for frequent API polling and supports more efficient integration of status updates into customer systems.
