The AutoEvent sector conference has been held under the direction of the Polish Chamber of the Automotive Industry, Polska Izba Motoryzacji (PIM), since 2005. It is one of the most important trade shows for producers and suppliers of components, materials, machines and tools for the automotive industry. Rhenus Automotive has participated in the event almost every year during the last ten years. The automotive logistics company constructs modern assembly and logistics centres close to its customers based on long-term agreements. By networking efficiently, Rhenus Automotive is able to supply the materials required by its customers from all over the world just in time and just in sequence. “We assemble tailor-made modules for production systems and supply them to the customer’s assembly line in such a way that there’s no disruption to the production flow and it can therefore be optimised in the long term,” says Monika Mandrysz, Head of Project Department at Rhenus Automotive Poland.
One award for many quality features
The Polish Chamber of the Automotive Industry bestowed Rhenus Automotive with the award for the company’s disciplined and reliable services, including the assembly of complex modules in line with the just-in-time and just-in-sequence models for automobile manufacturers. Rhenus Automotive ensures the best possible customer services by conducting regular system audits and meeting all contractual obligations on time. The company also shares its knowledge and its experience in the field, organising and introducing advanced logistics processes based on just-in-time and just-in-sequence operations for OEMs in Poland and Europe. To strengthen the automotive sector in the long term, the company also actively participates in automotive conferences, discussions and meetings.
Rhenus Automotive Poland as a company has therefore won the Reliable PIM Company Award for the first time. Zbigniew Sikora, Managing Director of Rhenus Automotive Poland, received the Manager of the Year Award back in 2020, when the conference was postponed to 2021 because of the pandemic; this award was also presented by the Polish Chamber of the Automotive Industry.
