Rhenus Indonesia undertook the RDMP Project RU V Balikpapan and handled heavy-lift propylene splitter, originating from South Korea tasked by the RDMP Project RU V Balikpapan. It has the longest item of 111.04 metres and weighs around 802 tons.

Rolling off of Splitters

Rolling off the splitter until it reaches its destination inside the refinery, the longest splitter dimensions are 111.04 x 7.18 x 7.93 metres with a weight of 802 tons.

HHP Boilers from South Korea

Discharging preparation into SPMT for one out of three HHP boilers from South Korea, each weighing 450 tons with the dimensions of 20 x 16 x 15 metres height. These HHP boilers are to support the RDMP RU V Balikpapan project for the revitalisation of five existing refineries in Indonesia.

The careful handling of this heavy-lift project ensured a smooth and safe process during roll-off. Every move, every turn from the jetty to the final destination has gone through our engineering calculation.

Transportation of refinery equipment

Another successful mobilisation in handling one of the longest pieces of refinery equipment of 111.04 metres, weighing around 802 tons, starting from discharging, rolling off the equipment until it reaches its destination inside the refinery.

Discharging of vessel to SPMT

This is how we deal with the centre of gravity of this very long cargo with dimensions of 49.65 x 7.61 x 8.18 metres and a weight of 418 tons during the discharging of the vessel to the SPMT before transporting to the final position on site.

CONVENTIONAL / BREAKBULK SERVICES

We have established and proven experience in shipping conventional and break bulk cargo, from structural steel to complex and oversized heavy machinery.
We select the type of vessel for each shipment based on your needs and the cargo type. In collaboration with you, Rhenus Indonesia develops the ideal solution for your transportation needs and understands that each commodity requires different handling.

RORO SERVICES

A RoRo (roll-on / roll-off) vessel is an ideal option for oversized cargo that would usually require unique heavy-lift vessels. These vessels are about 120 metres long and 21 metres wide, with a cargo capacity of 122 TEUs and about 1,000 lane metres. They have an onboard crane able to lift 80 tonnes, side doors for breakbulk cargo and accommodation for refrigerated goods.

CONTAINER SERVICES

Out of gauge (OOG) is an excellent option for transporting large cargo which does not fit in regular containers. Flat rack and open-top containers can handle goods that would otherwise require a conventional vessel to carry. The outcome is more frequent sailings, more reliable arrival times and significant ocean freight savings.

INLAND TRUCKING

Inland Trucking Services

Rhenus Indonesia can arrange truck transports for regular loads, oversized and heavy cargo, refrigerated goods, containers as well as specialized cargo and equipment. If necessary, we can also arrange customs clearance at borders as part of our transport package.
