Rhenus Warehousing Solutions presents at Genera its warehousing solutions for the renewable energy sector

Rhenus Warehousing Solutions will be exhibiting at Genera 2024, the international energy and environment trade fair, from 6 to 8 February at the Ifema exhibition centre in Madrid. The event is the main showcase for energy efficiency and renewable energy professionals. The specialist in warehousing and order preparation will return to the event to present its new products and its complete range of warehousing solutions specifically designed for the energy sector at stand A03 in Hall 9.

Renewable energy has become a strategic sector for Rhenus Warehousing Solutions in Spain. The Genera exhibition will allow visitors to see first-hand the value proposition the company has developed for this industry, taking into account the logistical complexity and delicate handling requirements of many of the components used in this type of project.

Rhenus Warehousing Solutions offers a broad portfolio of flexible warehousing, fulfilment and value-added solutions, including kitting and handling of metal carriers, inverters and other electronic materials, as well as customs and international clearance services. The company's operations are characterised by continuous monitoring and process optimisation, stringent quality control and just-in-time distribution.

Rhenus also offers its customers an extensive network of its own state-of-the-art warehouses in Spain, strategically located in Madrid, Seville, Cadiz and Valencia. Worldwide, the company has more than 180 centres in 23 countries and four million square metres of storage space. The facilities are equipped to store and inventory renewable energy project components of varying size and values. They are also connected to major highways and border crossings, have video surveillance and are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified. All this is supported by a highly specialised and constantly trained team dedicated to designing and implementing bespoke logistics solutions for the energy sector.

"The boom in renewable energy projects has led to a significant increase in demand for storage solutions, creating unique logistical challenges that must be addressed to meet the growth expectations of this market. At Rhenus, we are fully committed to meeting this increased demand, mitigating the risks associated with handling these types of goods and ensuring the logistical competitiveness of any renewable energy project," says Eduardo Aguilar, Managing Director of Rhenus Warehousing Solutions Spain.
