• Optimally connected: We guarantee the best connections for our customers through access to road, rail and water transportation, extending beyond container stuffing and stripping. This allows us to maintain a high degree of reliability, bypass port traffic congestion and move heavy goods without requiring additional permits for heavy loads.
• More than container stuffing and stripping: Benefit from the versatile equipment at our terminals. In Hamburg, for example, we provide seaworthy packaging directly at the terminal. Our port crane enables the loading of both heavy and small goods, while our “Greenliner” supports sustainable container transport. Sites such as Cuxhaven and Hamburg also feature rail connections that allow sensitive cargo to be reloaded directly from wagons in a weather-protected environment.
• Cost-optimized processes: Save costs by using container freight stations (CFSs) directly at the terminal. At some Rhenus locations, this allows empty containers to be collected without additional transport to the terminal. After stripping and stuffing, full containers can be sent to the export warehouse, eliminating empty repositioning and return transport for greater efficiency and cost savings.
