Faced with the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and cautious economic forecasts, many companies have reduced their training capacities. Not so the Rhenus Group: The family-run company is again offering 166 young people the opportunity to start their apprenticeship at one of the largest logistics service providers in Germany this year. This will mean that a total of around 750 apprentices will now be working for Rhenus.
“We are not only fulfilling our responsibility as a company that provides training: Our apprentices are an important pillar within Rhenus and we cannot imagine life without them. So we are continuing to put our money on committed newcomers who will receive excellent training from us even in challenging times," Rhenus board member Egbert Bernsmeister emphasizes.
This is also confirmed by Yannik Renn, a dual student for business administration. “I felt I was in very good hands right from the start and can only advise everyone to do their apprenticeship with Rhenus. You get intensive support right from day one – and the work is great fun!”
