In accordance with current regulations applicable at all times, all transport services must be accompanied by a corrective surcharge that adjusts the fluctuation of fuels and which affects the costs of road transport services directly.
This concept will apply to all services provided and will appear under the heading “Fuel surcharge”, as established by Royal Decree-Law 3/2022, independently of the price of the transport service. The surcharge is updated weekly for as long as the conflict in the Middle East continues, as it is creating challenges for supply chains. Once the conflict has ended, it will be calculated again on a monthly basis. The calculation data is updated weekly and the reference source is the Weekly Oil Bulletin of the European Commission, which includes the average fuel price per 1,000 litres (taxes included).

Adjustment percentage by destination for the Tetrans product:
Since the share of road transport within the overall service varies depending on the route, the fuel surcharge will be adjusted according to the applicable percentage based on the origin and destination of the transport charges invoiced.
The applicable surcharge for the Tetrans product must be calculated based on the surcharge column in the fuel surcharge table shown above.

Rhenus Logistics reserves the right to update, replace or substantially modify the surcharge supplement, both in its application percentage and in its period of validity.
