This enables us to offer you a high degree of reliability as we can avoid the frequently high volumes of road traffic in the port area and can transport heavy goods without additional permits for heavy loads.
    • More than container stuffing and stripping: Benefit from the versatile equipment at our terminals: in Rotterdam, for example, we provide seaworthy packaging directly at the terminal. Our port crane at Rotterdam Maasvlakte makes it easy to load both heavy and small goods. Also, in the Netherlands, we offer barge and rail connections that make it possible to reload sensitive freight directly from the wagon in a weather-protected environment.
    • Cost-optimized processes: Save costs using container freight stations (CFSs) right at the terminal. At certain Rhenus locations, this enables us to collect empty containers without additional transportation to the terminal. After stripping and stuffing, containers can be brought to the export warehouse as full containers. This eliminates the need for empty positioning and return transportation – a clear advantage in terms of efficiency and cost savings.
