It is important to guarantee a smooth and cost-efficient shipment between the continents. To do so, Rhenus now offers a special sea-air service, the Pacific Bridge. The route from China to Latin America can be broken down into three parts: First, ocean freight shipping from China to the U.S. West Coast. The crossing of the Pacific Ocean takes no longer than 15 days in total. After arriving in Los Angeles, the goods are transported by truck across the U.S. to Miami, as the airport there serves as a central air freight hub to South America. From Miami, existing air cargo flights can be used to transport the shipments to their final destination within Latin America.
