Your options for flexible inbound goods delivery

Central inbound delivery

For inbound delivery, you transport your goods to one of our central warehouses. At the central warehouse, we consolidate the inbound deliveries and pick them for onward transport to our regional last-mile depots. The goods are then promptly delivered to the customer from the respective delivery location.

Pick-up

Are you lacking capacities or suppliers who can take care of your goods? We can offer you our complete package including pre-collection. We will collect the goods for you from the desired location and deliver them to our central warehouse or distribution centres.

Our efforts to achieve green delivery encompass our fleet, our locations, and innovative city logistics concepts. Our vehicle fleet currently consists of 560 of our own electric trucks in Europe. At our locations, we use energy-saving LED lighting, partly green electricity, and increasingly photovoltaic systems. With urban micro-depots, low-noise electric cargo bikes, and innovative traffic concepts, we ensure quieter and less congested logistics in metropolitan areas of selected countries.

In the home delivery sector we specialise in transporting heavy and bulky products directly to the customer. These include furniture, kitchens, white goods, brown goods, sports and garden equipment.

Our home delivery service is aimed at B2B customers and exclusively targets business clients (retailers, online and multi-channel sellers, manufacturers, distributors) who require reliable last-mile solutions for their customers.

An optimised customer journey that creates a positive experience at every touchpoint for the recipient helps to retain the customer long term. It increases customer satisfaction and promotes repeat purchases in your shop.

Our value-added services include professional furniture assembly, kitchen installation including appliance connection in some countries, returns management and disposal of old appliances.

Yes, in many countries such as Germany, Italy and the UK we offer the possibility to store customers’ goods temporarily until delivery. We also provide additional services such as packing, Pick & Pack and quality control.

From the moment the shipment arrives at the warehouse we communicate with recipients until the goods are received. The exact delivery notification varies by country. In Germany we inform customers by email and SMS about the shipment status and offer online appointment booking and tracking. In the UK customers receive several delivery date options by email or SMS. In Italy appointment scheduling is mainly done by phone through local customer service centres and in some cases via booking calendars.

Delivery precision greatly influences end customer satisfaction. Therefore we measure whether delivery was made on the announced day. Additionally, if desired, we can also verify whether promised time windows were kept.
