Job Description

What you can expect

What you will do

  • Responsible for timely, cost-effective movement of the customer’s air export shipments.
  • Responsible for achieving high accuracy through our TMS to ensure high productivity and operational excellence
  • Main point of contact for coordination between customer’s shipment exports, customs brokers, and shipping carriers
  • Prepare, handle and process documentation- including house and master air waybills, commercial documents, and customs/regulatory documents
  • Take booking requests, ensure bookings are made at current and accurate rates, consolidate and route shipments based on local office procedures.
  • Communicate with carriers, origin and destination locations regarding shipment status, special handling and delivery processes; 
  • Contribute to maintain strong relationships with suppliers (airlines, Carriers, trucking companies, and others)
  • Interact with our customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards/ satisfaction

What you bring

Skills and Experience

  • 1 year of experience in the air freight forwarding operations
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
  • Pro-active, strong organizational skills
  • Fluent in German and English
