In our Sales trainee programme “Step forward!”, you will experience the entire diversity of our sales world in 18 months. You will learn and work at different locations for 6 months at a time, are directly involved in exciting topics and can take on responsibility in record time. Of course, you can expect regular feedback, individual mentoring and in-depth training. Since 2016, we have annually received an award from the trendence Institute for the fairness in our trainee programme. The certification is based on the assessment of performance and framework conditions, mentoring and support, further development options and subsequent career prospects.
As a trainee, you are writing your first chapter of success in the Rhenus Group – but of course your journey is not over yet. Numerous opportunities await your ambitions to directly land the next bull’s eye.
As an assistant to sales management or in sales management, you will help to develop effective strategies and prepare structured decision-making documents. The complete reporting of sales measures and process optimisation are also on your agenda. Alternatively, you can progress in the direction of business development. In this specialist area, you will create innovative concepts for demanding customer projects. Your input is also required for customised logistics offers or for all aspects of complex services and logistics chains. Your communication skills will come into play in contract negotiations with customers and suppliers.
Or you can become a junior key account manager and act as the main contact for key accounts, which will include negotiating prices. You will advise on our wide range of options, routinely select products and services and continuously develop customer relationships. With you, increasing order numbers are guaranteed.
Our project business in the sales sector covers a wide range of projects, including sustainable sales strategies for new products or locations. As a sales trainee, you will also be welcome at this planning and implementation level.
Finally, there is the exciting field of outside sales, where you can apply your expertise in market research and in identifying, contacting and acquiring new customers.
