Our Human Resources trainee programme

In our trainee programme, you will experience the entire diversity of our HR work in 18 months. You will learn and work in our various business units for 6 months at a time, be directly involved in exciting projects and be able to take on responsibility in record time. Of course, you can expect regular feedback, individual mentoring and in-depth training. This is how we sustainably promote your professional and personal development and make you fit for a long-term HR career in the Rhenus Group.

Competence and character: How to convince us

  • You have a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology or Education – preferably with a focus on Human Resources.

  • In any case, you will have gained some practical experience in the HR sector, and international experience would be a plus.

  • You take an analytical look at new topics and drive them forward conceptually.

  • You will be happy to prove that you can create an atmosphere of trust with empathy and communication skills at changing locations in Germany.

Endless success stories: Here’s how it can go on

As a trainee, you are writing your first chapter of success in the Rhenus Group – but of course your journey is not over yet. Numerous opportunities are waiting for your ambitions to directly land the next bull’s eye.

In recruiting, you will act as a service provider and consultant for our operational locations. Together with the departments there, you will define in requirements profiles and job advertisements who we need as reinforcements. You will skilfully check incoming applications and make an accurate preselection of applicants. Interviews, potential analyses and assessment centres are also on your agenda.

If you prefer to focus on personnel development, you will be responsible for training coordination as well as designing, implementing and improving personnel development tools. You will select external training providers, conduct internal training sessions yourself and moderate a wide variety of workshops. In addition, our junior staff will benefit from your efforts.

You will develop and supervise our junior staff programmes and organise e-learning, training sessions and attention-grabbing events. As a personnel marketing officer, you create and implement effective measures to bring the Rhenus Group even more into the focus of our target groups. You will adeptly position us at career fairs, develop inspiring advertising materials and create well thought-out landing pages. Through these, we can perfectly communicate our service and job portfolio online and thus attract fresh reinforcements for our logistics world.

Of course, our HR generalists are also happy to welcome you as support. From personnel support to the monitoring of specific personnel projects (employee benefits, etc.), many things are possible here.

Whichever career path you take in the HR department of the Rhenus Group – the possibility of a far-reaching career in a managerial position awaits you in the second step.
