Fun. Engaging. Progressive.

The variability of my job is what gets me up every morning, it is always evolving, and every day is just different from any previous day, just like a constant adventure with a tremendous amount of learning outcomes.
Rhenus Group is undeniably the most welcoming workplace I have had the chance to work at. In addition, the positive organisational culture contributes a lot to my daily motivation and inspiration.

I have worked on many exciting projects since joining the company about three and a half years ago. One of the most exciting projects I have had the chance to work on was a new product launch for our warehouse solutions in Greater China: ‘RISE’ (Rhenus Integrated Solutions & Re-Engineering). The project was focused on expanding our Warehouse portfolio of products by introducing new product lines centred toward digitalisation, process automation (robotics) and e-commerce. Being one of the founding figures of this new business initiative, I had the chance to have a front-row seat, watching our simple business ideas grow into a nationwide business concept, which has been launched and commercialised since beginning of 2021. A sublime experience to see your ideas coming to light and becoming a reality! This has only been possible because of the open culture and the willingness of Management to empower young people like me to dream big and not be afraid to fail since we are and will always be together with passion.

Firstly, the most important thing: Acquaint yourself with the workplace dynamics. This way, you can settle in, learn about your new working environment, get to know your new colleagues and find out how they relate to each other. Secondly, don’t miss any opportunity to make new friends, i.e. talk to everyone. Finally, be nice, be bold and a good team player, or simply learn, share, repeat and never be afraid to fail.
