Varied. Connecting. Challenging.

Externally, I work as a connection between Rhenus and other companies like carriers, booking agents and customers. Internally, I am happy to be a helper, e.g. to fix a clogged sink, repair a broken chair, etc. Therefore, the motivation to get up every morning and work is that at Rhenus I feel I am quite useful and I am needed. This sense of accomplishment is very important especially for people my age.

The biggest challenge in my job is that, in the course of dealing with different carriers, they have different requirements and sometimes, as a messenger, I might be confronted with very difficult/tough people. Therefore, I always have to be well prepared and luckily, over my past 20 years of working experience, I’ve managed to get myself fully familiarised with their working procedures and, most importantly, I’ve found a way to deal with all these difficult people.

Rhenus is just like my family, and the people in this family care for each other. For new joiners, I hope you can love this family as I do and let’s work together to create a better future for our family.
