I still learn new things every week.

As a Rhenus Commodity unit, we work for a large number of different customers in Austria, who have a wide variety of products and logistics requirements. So one time there are 80,000 tonnes of heating oil that have to be transported from Austria to Hamburg, and the next time there is a complete airport building made of wood that we transported from Austria to the Philippines. That’s what makes Rhenus as an employer and my job so unique. We develop solutions for our customers and I can use my logistics know-how of the various modes of transport every day.

One of the most exciting projects in my 22-year career at the Rhenus Group was transporting the airport buildings to the Philippines. Both projects together had around 20,000 cubic metres of goods – including heavy goods and special transports.

I can recommend new colleagues at the Rhenus Group to go through all areas. The Rhenus Group is so diverse that there is an ideal job for everyone.

After a day at work, I go running or cycling, or I enjoy the evening in my garden.
