Your team

As an experienced Team Lead Shipping, at least 4 years, you will lead a diverse and international team consisting of office workers and dock team employees. It is up to you to set the framework within the team and create an environment in which the team can excel in self-management. In addition, you get energy from the following responsibilities:

  • You coach, evaluate and develop employees within their own department. You have an eye for what motivates employees and know how to get the most out of the team and each individual.

  • You are data-driven and you are enthusiastic about working with it. You know how to convert this into innovative ideas in which you dare to think outside the box.

  • The opinion of our employees is of very important to us. That is why it is important that you act as the facilitator: you involve colleagues, ask questions, listen, and put them at the center of the process. All this is in line with the standards and values of Rhenus Warehousing Solutions.

  • You understand that satisfied customers are the key to success. You strive for the highest customer satisfaction by proactively solving problems and optimizing customer satisfaction. Every day you evaluate what is going well and what can be improved. You can control these improvements based on data.

  • You work closely with various stakeholders and maintain regular contact — both verbally and in writing in English — with CS colleagues, other team leads, and customers. You also take an active part in various improvement projects and report directly to the shift lead.

Rhenus Warehousing Solutions Netherlands is currently operating at six locations and will also be active in the Utrecht region from 2026 onward. We offer a wide range of logistics services, including warehousing, order picking, and value-added services.
