What you can expect
Das erwartet Dich bei uns
- Als Data Scientist in der Abteilung Data Management & Analytics analysierst Du Unternehmensdaten und leitest aus ihnen wertvolle Erkenntnisse ab.
- Zudem konzipierst und realisierst Du Data Science Projekte auf Basis von Machine & Deep Learning-Algorithmen und kümmerst Dich um deren ständige Weiterentwicklung.
- Du arbeitest eng mit Fachabteilungen und Ansprechpartnern aus der Logistik zusammen, nimmst Anforderungen auf, erklärst technische Konzepte und identifizierst datenbasierte Optimierungspotenziale.
- Deine Insights bereitest Du professionell auf und präsentierst sie in zielgruppengerechter Form mittels Visualisierungstools wie Power BI.
- Du bringst aktiv neue Ideen und Best Practices ins Team ein, da Du dich über aktuelle Trends, Methoden und Tools im Bereich Data Science auf dem Laufenden hältst.
- Zu guter Letzt unterstützt Du die Rhenus-Gruppe bei der Entwicklung hin zu einer „Data-Driven Company“.
What you bring
Das bringst Du mit
- Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium in Mathematik, Informatik, Statistik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation mit mind. 2 Jahren Berufserfahrung im Bereich Data Science, Predictive Analytics bzw. Data Mining.
- Darüber hinaus bringst Du ein umfangreiches Wissen im Umgang mit Data Science Tools und Techniken, vorzugsweise Data Science Studio von Dataiku, mit.
- Zudem konntest Du bereits praktische Erfahrung in der Anwendung von Machine & Deep Learning Algorithmen, insb. Time Series Forecasting und der Programmierung mit Python sammeln.
- Ebenfalls bringst Du praktische Erfahrung in der Leitung von Data Science Projekten, inkl. Kundenkommunikation mit.
- Von Vorteil ist außerdem Erfahrung mit SQL, verschiedenen Python-Bibliotheken (pandas, tensorflow, pytorch, etc.) sowie ein ausgeprägter Innovationswille, um den Bereich Data Science voranzutreiben.
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift runden Dein Profil ab.

Recruitment Process

Application screening
Our HR team and the responsible department will take a close look at your application as soon as possible. We will do our best to give you feedback within two weeks. With your agreement, we would also be happy to forward the documents to other business units if the selected position does not work out.
Selection Process
Depending on the position, there are various ways of finding out if we are a good match for each other. In most cases, we rely on a personal interview, on a eye level of course. Online tests, assessment centres or work on a trial basis may also be possible. In the end, the best decision is taken for both sides.
