What you can expect
The Junior Tariff Automation & Analytics Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining tariff structures while driving automation initiatives that enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of tariff-related processes. The role combines day-to-day tariff maintenance and administration with a strong focus on automation projects, leveraging AI tools, data analytics, and reporting solutions to optimize tariff management, pricing analysis, quotation processes, and revenue performance tracking. The position plays a key role in modernizing tariff operations through continuous process improvement and digital innovation.
Automation & AI Projects
- Lead and support automation initiatives related to tariff management processes.
- Identify manual activities and develop automated workflows using AI tools, business intelligence platforms, and process automation technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement solutions that improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance data accessibility.
- Evaluate and introduce new AI-driven tools to optimize tariff administration, pricing analysis, and reporting activities.
- Document automation processes, workflows, and best practices.
Tariff Management
- Ensure tariff data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates across systems.
- Assist in the implementation and validation of tariff changes and pricing adjustments.
- Monitor tariff performance and identify discrepancies or data quality issues.
- Support commercial and operational teams with tariff-related inquiries and analyses.
Reporting & Business Analytics
- Develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards related to tariffs, pricing, revenue, and profitability.
- Analyze quotation data against actual costs and revenues to identify margin improvement opportunities.
- Perform revenue and margin analysis across customers, products, services, and tariff structures.
Data Management & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure data integrity across tariff and reporting systems.
- Support data cleansing, validation, and governance initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and operational efficiency improvements.
- Participate in cross-functional projects related to digital transformation and business process enhancement.
What you bring
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar reporting and analytics tools.
- Familiarity with AI-powered productivity and automation tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Power Automate, RPA platforms, or similar technologies).
- Basic understanding of databases, data structures, and automation workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
