Job Description
What you can expect
- Align trade strategy with global core carrier policies
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with procurement and commercial teams on capacity and product strategy
- Build strong relationships with regional decision-makers at core carriers
- Lead performance reviews and quarterly business reviews across regions
- Act as the escalation point for carrier-related issues
- Lead FCL tender strategy and negotiate rates for key accounts
- Ensure competitiveness in freight rates, surcharges, and contract terms
- Manage selling rates and Cloud Ocean Line Tariffs
- Support commercial teams during strategic customer visits
- Present trade performance to key stakeholders
- Share actionable market insights across regions
What you bring
- 5+ years in ocean procurement or ocean carrier experience
- 5+ years in leadership, including team development and performance management
- Strong commercial mindset and proven trade lane expertise
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English; confident and outgoing personality
- Analytical, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently
- Willing to travel and lead by example

Recruitment Process

Selection Process
Depending on the position, there are various ways of finding out if we are a good match for each other. In most cases, we rely on a personal interview, on a eye level of course. Online tests, assessment centres or work on a trial basis may also be possible. In the end, the best decision is taken for both sides.
