Senior Quality Officer

To support our growth and uphold our strong dedication to quality and compliance, we are looking for an experienced Senior Quality & Compliance Specialist who will help further professionalize our Quality, Compliance & Sustainability department.
 

Your Role
As a Senior Quality & Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating our quality management system. You play a key role in setting up and implementing KPIs to achieve our quality and compliance objectives. This is done by continuously improving working methods and procedures and advising on actions that promote the quality vision within Rhenus Warehousing Solutions. Your challenge lies in consistently delivering top quality in a constantly changing environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
 

How will you do this?              

• Maintain customer relationships and participate in periodic meetings (Periodic Business Review Meetings).

• Promote quality on the floor: be present and involved to identify and act on improvements.

• Conduct and follow up on internal audits and GEMBA walks.

• Support and follow up on external audits.

• Prepare periodic reports related to Quality & Compliance, analyze results and propose improvement actions.

• Keep Q&C procedures and work instructions up to date, based on changes in legislation, internal improvement processes and organizational changes.

• Analyze and improve existing work processes.

You will do all of this in close collaboration with your colleagues from the Quality, Compliance & Sustainability team, which consists of 18 team members located in Tilburg and Eindhoven. You will report to the Manager of Quality & Compliance.

We are looking for an experienced quality professional with strong communication skills, the ability to persuade and the capability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. Critical thinking and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing improvements are essential in this role. You also bring:

• A Bachelor's degree (HBO level), preferably in quality management or a related field.

• Solid experience in quality management.

• Good command of the English language (spoken and written).

• Accuracy and attention to detail.

• The ability to act as a credible discussion partner for customers.
