IT apprenticeship in
development or administration

Modern IT solutions for steering, moving and linking are just your thing? You are already in top form on a PC and have perhaps even done some programming yourself? Do puzzles leave you no peace until the right answer is found? Then we would love to welcome you as an apprentice in our IT department. We will train you as an IT specialist – in an environment where progress is the order of the day and the future has long since begun. Depending on your desired focus, you can expand our success code in application development or become an administrator (f/m/d) in system integration. What you learn from our experienced IT professionals and software developers will soon steer us to the next level, digitally and internationally. The best mix of school and practice, with honest feedback and real support, e.g. for exam preparation.

Our young computer scientists report

Experience report

Logistics and IT – two future-orientated areas that belong together and offer many exciting opportunities. We talked to our IT trainees Lukas and Michael about what these are. Here you can find out everything about their start with us and what they get up to in their daily work.

These opportunities await you after your IT apprenticeship

Opportunities in application development

With your degree as an application developer, you have the access code for many levels at Rhenus. For example, you can give our logistics a new direction with creative software solutions. Or you can set new accents as a devop engineer, where you are the interface between development and operations. In the future, you can develop into a product owner on a scrum team. Last but not least, you have the chance to expand your skills with a degree in Computer Science or in the “Young Talent Programme”.

Opportunities in system administration

After your apprenticeship as a system integrator, you can take over the administration of our server and cloud systems or the infrastructure in our data centre. Your heart beats for applications and interfaces? Your admin skills are also in demand here, from roll-out to optimisation. Would you like to shed light on other IT aspects? A postgraduate degree in (Business) Informatics provides plenty of input. With a particularly successful degree, you’ll qualify for our “Young Talent Programme”.
