Job Description
What you can expect
What you'll be doing
- Providing generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management up to offboarding
- Partnering with managers to understand and address their HR-related needs and concerns
- Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring HR processes and policies are compliant with relevant regulations
Recruitment/Hiring
- Actively participates in recruitment efforts for staff-level to supervisory positions
- Advertising job openings in jobstreet, LinkedIn, and other source media based on the approved manpower request
- Scheduling job interviews and conducting initial interviews
- Administer exams of the candidates, when needed
- Ensuring background and reference checks are completed
- Preparation of Job Offer and employment contract
Onboarding/Offboarding
- Ensuring onboarding SOP are completed within the timeline such as IT requests, equipment needed, BIPO registration, Workday profiles creation, welcome message, and new hire announcement
- Collecting pre-employment requirements of the selected candidates and preparing new employee profile
- Orienting new employees on HR policies and introducing them to the team
- Enrolling new joiners in the mandatory training or orientation
- Ensuring offboarding SOP are completed in a timely manner
Payroll and Benefits Administration
- Processing payroll in the HRIS (BIPO) which includes checking the completeness of time records and ensuring leaves are filled and approved accordingly
- Securing payroll approval from the HR Manager before the payout
- Recording employee's new SSS and Pagibig loans in BIPO and other recurring deductions
- Securing a signed authority to deduct from employees for non-government salary deductions
- Statutory remittances and preparation of monthly 1601-C report within the timeline
- Administered BIR Alphalist for compensation
Record Maintenance
- Maintaining HR files and database
- Practice confidentiality on employee compensation and personal information
- Updating and maintaining employee benefits, employment status, and similar records
- Maintaining records related to performance reviews, complaints, and disciplinary actions
- Performing file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained
- Completing termination paperwork and assisting with exit interviews and clearance
- Applying the data privacy policy of the company at all times
Other Tasks
- HMO and Life insurance processing (registration & deletion)
- Arranging external training for the employees
- Act as liaison officer for SSS, Philhealth, and Pag-ibig
- Back-up of HR Manager when on leave
- Other tasks as assigned
What you bring
What we're looking for
- 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role, ideally within the logistics industry
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and relevant regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
- Proficient in HR information systems and data analysis
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- With strong time management skills
- Excellent administrative skills
- Competency in MS office and related presentation tools
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, BSBA major in Human Resources, or any related field
