Job Description

What you can expect

Head of Sales Cambodia:

  • Being part of the senior management team of our Rhenus Cambodia office and jointly develop future sales strategy together with Cluster General Manager
  • Functional and disciplinary manager of an established field sales and sales support team of 4 staff
  • Leading and guiding the sales team by example through motivation and encouragement
  • Driving the development of acquiring new accounts with focus on volume growth in the field of air freight, sea freight and cross-border trucking (own and team’s account management)
  • Doing market research, identifying new and potential customers
  • Building long-term relationships with clients and closely collaborate with regional sales functions, overseas logistics experts and local procurement and operations team
  • Live the Rhenus family spirit and make a difference
  • Understanding market trends and consulting clients on finding best suitable solutions for their supply chain
  • Represent Rhenus professionally towards customers, vendors, chambers and other institutions

 

Cluster Business Development Manager – Europe:

  • Supporting and guide fellow colleagues in the development of European mid- and large scale customers
  • Supporting and coordinating commercial topics between Rhenus Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar and European counterparts
  • Leading and structure tradelane calls, pipelines and joint engagements with European offices
  • Act as support and escalation window between European, Thai, Cambodian and Myanmar commercial and product teams

 

Other tasks:

  • Prepare executive summaries, reports, proposals and presentations
  • Manage, maintain and update the most relevant customer information in internal systems (CRM)

What you bring

  • Passionate about global economy, worldwide supply chains and making a difference for our clients
  • Being creative, thinking outside the box and solutions-driven
  • Service-minded with attention to detail, positive can-do attitude
  • Bachelor or equivalent qualification, preferably in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or a related field
  • Strong sales and customer service focus with proven track record in acquiring new business (experience of working in sales for 5+ years)
  • Experience in Freight Forwarding industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English and Khmer, French highly preferred
  • Computer savvy incl. MS office, CRM know-how
