Job Description
What you can expect
Managing Customer Relationships
Engage with customers in an inviting, friendly, and professional manner to deliver exceptional experiences and nurture lasting relationships.
Management of all customer activity for assigned customer accounts including queries, complaints, orders etc.
Maintain consistent communication with customers with regards to work orders, invoices, shipment status, inventory counts, arrival notices etc.
Conduct investigations with Warehouse Personnel to satisfy customer inquiries.
Escalate inquiries/complaints to the appropriate manager or department.
Keeping records of customer interactions, comments, and complaints.
Order fulfilment
Take responsibility for end-to-end process of tasks from receiving to shipping, ensuring own knowledge of all products and regulatory environment is understood and complied with.
Adhere to any specific customer processes and procedures.
Receive stock onto WMS, create/update part numbers as required.
Record storage locations for stock on WMS, create/update locations as required.
Create picklists on WMS form Warehouse Personnel when orders are received.
Ship stock from WMS and create dispatch paperwork for transportation when orders are picked.
Report stock status and material movement to customers and vendors as required.
Report feedback from the customer to management and/or the appropriate department.
Handle returned merchandise in an efficient manner.
Communicate with the transport and freight departments regarding any changes to orders or deliveries.
Inventory Management Process
Ensuring the accuracy of information on the WMS for assigned customer accounts.
Engage with Warehouse Personnel to ensure accurate recording of information and activity.
Assist system accuracy by keying important informationregarding transfers of stock and investigating cycle count inaccuracies for assigned customer accounts.
Assist IT Department with WMS queries/updates/changes.
Coordinating with stock controller to conduct regular (Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly) stock takes.
Resolving stock issues efficiently.
Regular monitoring, recording, and reporting of stock levels.
Supporting the Operation of the Logistics Department
Collaboration with finance department regarding the transfer of information for invoicing, recharges etc.
Log customer requests as required to support activity analysis and invoicing.
Ensure finance department is notified about all non-routine work for billing purposes.
Log customer activity for business purposes as required.
Follow company procedures, guidelines, and policies.
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the team, through reviewing procedures to meet expectations of service and conduct and improve on own self development.
Support other departments in relation to customer activity data.
Other ad-hoc administration duties as required.
What you bring
Experience in Customer Service or Logistics related positions.
Highly motivated and willing to take ownership of this role.
Ability to work own initiative and track multiple processes.
Knowledge of logistics industry (preferred).
Computer-competent with a working knowledge of logistics software/WMS systems.
PreviousCustomer Service Experience.
Strong organisational skills and coordination abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Keen on working in a fast-paced environment.
