What you can expect
Operational Process Optimization & Digital Enhancement
- Support the Digital Process Innovation Manager in executing digital initiatives and process improvements within assigned logistics domains.
- Serve as the domain-specific owner for global processes, system functionality, and relevant operational data.
- Provide domain-related data guidance to the Master Data Management team, excluding cross-domain or corporate-level data.
- Lead or co-lead enhancements in processes and digital systems to improve operational efficiency and performance.
- Develop and maintain global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to promote process consistency, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
- Evaluate and recommend application functionalities that align with operational needs and support scalable, efficient solutions.
- Define and monitor operational KPIs focused on performance, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that process improvements and digital strategies address business needs and customer expectations.
- Work with the Operational Excellence team to capture and integrate country-specific operational requirements and rollout needs into system designs.
- Partner with the Master Data team to ensure consistency, accuracy, and integration of domain-specific data across all relevant applications.
- Define the authoritative source of operational data in systems to ensure data objects support accurate and efficient execution of processes.
- Coordinate with IT project managers and developers to guide the prioritization and development of system modules relevant to domain needs.
Project Management & Leadership Support
- Manage enhancement projects and Jira ticket workflows, including timeline creation, tracking, and resolution across the development lifecycle.
- Step into the Digital Process Innovation Manager’s responsibilities as needed to ensure leadership continuity and project momentum.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Operational Excellence role or at least 5 years of operational and management experience in freight forwarding, specifically within Road, Warehouse, Rail, and/or Customer-related operations, with a strong emphasis on quality and performance improvement.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with a structured approach to solving complex problems.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to see both customer-facing and internal operational perspectives.
- Skilled in engaging stakeholders at all levels of the organization and aligning on business priorities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives while contributing to cross-functional improvements.
- Results-driven with a high sense of ownership and accountability.
- Capable of working in and building regional teams, with strong collaboration and communication across cultures and functions.
- Comfortable operating under pressure, with the leadership presence to represent and drive initiatives regionally.
- Professional proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
