Job Description

What you can expect

  • Du leitest selbständig oder im Team unsere M&A-Projekte in allen Formen und Größenordnungen (Akquisitionen, Desinvestitionen, Joint Ventures, Distressed M&A in komplexen Sondersituationen) und entwickelst dafür optimale Transaktionsstrukturen.
  • Dein Verantwortungsbereich umfasst den gesamten M&A-Prozess, von der Anbahnung und Bewertung über erste Angebote bis hin zur detaillierten Due Diligence und den Kaufvertragsverhandlungen, sowie abschließendem Signing und Closing.
  • Dabei tauchst du insbesondere in die Finance-Bestandteile ein (GuV-/Bilanz-/Cashflowanalysen, Business-Pläne, Unternehmensbewertungen, Kaufpreismechanismen) und bildest insgesamt die Klammer über alle Workstreams hinweg, inklusive der operativ verantwortlichen Geschäftsfeldleiter.
  • Außerdem übernimmst du die Kommunikation mit potenziellen Verkäufern, Käufern oder Partnern sowie deren Beratern.
  • Nach Abschluss des M&A-Projektes wirkst du auch in der Steuerung von Post-Merger-Integrationsaktivitäten mit.
  • Die aktive Targetsuche (klassisch und mittels Online-Dealsourcing-Plattformen), Kontaktpflege in unser Beraternetzwerk zur Füllung der Pipeline potenzieller M&A-Vorhaben, sowie Reportings und Entscheidungsvorlagen zu M&A-Projekten für Vorstand und Aufsichtsrat runden dein M&A-Aufgabenprofil ab.
  • Vorstands-/ CFO-Projekte im Rahmen von Performance & Efficiency Improvement und strategischer Asset Allocation stellen ebenfalls spannende Herausforderungen dar.

What you bring

  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium der Wirtschaftswissenschaften mit finanzwirtschaftlichem Schwerpunkt.
  • (Mehrjährige) Berufspraxis in den Bereichen M&A, Corporate Finance oder (Beteiligungs-) Controlling, vorzugsweise in einem internationalen Unternehmen oder einem Beratungshaus.
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse im Bereich Unternehmensbewertung, Due Diligence, sowie idealerweise im Vertrags- und Steuerrecht bezüglich einschlägiger M&A-Regelungen.
  • Unkomplizierte Kommunikation im Team, sowie mit allen Stakeholdern im M&A-Prozess in verhandlungssicherem Deutsch und Englisch.
  • Selbstständige Arbeitsweise, Teamgeist und ein hohes Maß an Engagement.
  • Analytische und strukturierten Arbeitsweise, sowie Problemlösungskompetenz.
