Job Description

What you can expect

As a Project Manager in our international customs environment, you’ll drive forward projects that shape the way we manage complex customs processes, implement regulatory changes, and optimize cross-border supply chains. You will work where operations, legal requirements, and digital change come together – always staying ahead and focusing on creating real value.

Your Role:

  • Project planning and design: Develop and manage detailed project plans tailored to the needs of customs-related processes, compliance projects, or IT implementations in the customs environment.

  • Team leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams – from customs experts to IT, legal, and operations – creating a collaborative and proactive project culture.

  • Resource management: Ensure effective allocation of resources, balancing regulatory requirements, budgets, and operational needs.

  • Risk management: Identify compliance-related risks (e.g. delays in regulatory implementation) and develop robust mitigation strategies to maintain smooth customs operations.

  • Stakeholder engagement: Act as the central point of contact for internal stakeholders, clients, and authorities – always ensuring transparent and professional communication.

  • Quality assurance: Monitor progress and ensure that all project results meet internal standards and legal obligations in the customs context.

What you bring

  • With a strong project management background, you have a proven track record of leading initiatives in a structured and organized way, ensuring clarity in planning, execution, and delivery.

  • You confidently steer projects independently from initiation to completion, always keeping risks, timelines, and stakeholder expectations in check.

  • Strategically minded, you know how to align project goals with broader organizational objectives and long-term plans.

  • Your coordination skills enable you to distribute tasks effectively, clarify responsibilities, and empower your team to achieve strong results.

  • When faced with complexity, you respond with structured thinking and a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.

  • Thanks to your excellent communication skills, you successfully engage and align stakeholders through clear, concise, and impactful dialogue – both within your team and across departments.
