Job Description
What you can expect
New Business Development
- Approach and engage Key Accounts in Vietnam to generate new locally controlled business opportunities.
- Identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities across logistics services, including Air Freight, Sea Freight, Domestic, Cross-Border, and Sea-Air solutions.
Account Management & Retention
- Build and maintain strong relationships with designated Key Accounts to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Take ownership of Key Account financial performance, including revenue growth and accounts receivable.
Strategic Account Oversight
- Review and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for efficient account operations.
- Conduct regular internal budget and performance reviews for Key Accounts, ensuring alignment with growth targets.
Implementation & Customer Engagement
- Support the seamless implementation of new Key Account projects until operational handover is complete.
- Organize and lead regular customer review meetings to address concerns, review performance, and strengthen relationships.
RFQ/Tender Management
- Proactively manage Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Information (RFI) opportunities, ensuring the company is included in key tenders and vendor engagements.
Pricing & Market Intelligence
- Stay updated on market rates and provide valuable input during pricing reviews in coordination with Product Managers.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Prepare and maintain monthly Key Account Management (KAM) reports for relevant stakeholders, including Regional Head Office, Global Account Managers (GAMs), and local leadership.
- Participate in and lead internal KAM sales meetings to discuss progress and strategies.
Relationship Building & Cross-Functional Support
- Actively share sales leads and insights with internal teams to foster collaboration.
- Partner with Operations to ensure smooth service delivery for Key Accounts.
Other Duties
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Management, Logistics, or related fields.
- 5–7 years of proven experience in the Freight Forwarding industry.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation abilities to foster long-lasting relationships.
- Familiarity with market trends and competitive pricing strategies in freight forwarding.
- Strong verbal and written communication skill in English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant tools.
- Self-motivation with a results-driven mindset
- Team-oriented approach with a customer-centric mindset.
