COMBATTING THE VIRUS: RHENUS HIGH TECH TRANSPORTS TROTEC AIR PURIFIERS TO CLASSROOMS

The Covid-19 pandemic with its highly contagious variants like Delta or Omicron has shown that it is extremely important to remove viruses from the air. The demand for mobile air purifiers is therefore higher than ever before. But how do the machines reach schools and nurseries, who assembles them and who services them? The Rhenus specialists at High Tech handle precisely these tasks on behalf of Trotec, one of the leading manufacturers of air treatment solutions.

When the Covid-19 pandemic started, the demand for mobile air purifiers increased dramatically. At this time, Trotec was looking for a logistics specialist, which had a network across Germany, could also meet all the quality requirements and could handle deliveries, assembly work, provide instructions and offer services and maintenance for the machines. The experts at Rhenus High Tech started to ramp up the project in September 2021. It was already possible to insert 2,700 air purifiers during the first three months and therefore equip 200 schools and nursery schools.
