Rhenus Revival opens a representative office in Azerbaijan

Rhenus Revival, the specialist for the markets in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) within the Rhenus Group, opened an office in Baku in Azerbaijan at the beginning of August.

The Rhenus subsidiary is pressing ahead with its business activities in the Caucasus region by opening its first branch in Azerbaijan. This will enable it to strengthen its market presence between the Black and Caspian Sea. In the past, the region was exclusively served by the business sites at Novorossiysk and Tashkent operated by Maxx Intermodal Systems, the specialist for container traffic in the CIS.

“We selected the capital of Azerbaijan for our new office because the country is the most important business partner in the Caucasus region for Germany,” says Bernd Stichel, Managing Director of Rhenus Revival, giving the reasons for the choice. Overall, Rhenus Revival has 17 branches in the CIS and Germany.

Rhenus Revival in Baku now offers all the services provided by the Rhenus Freight Logistics business area. They not only include classic overland transport services for groupage freight, LTL and FTL deliveries, but also services in the air and sea-freight sectors.
