“Most of our services have very little to do with classic logistics operations. Having our own logo for the Rhenus Office Systems brand is designed to increase our visibility in our markets and place the focus on our actual business activities,” says Jens Kumbrink, Managing Director of Rhenus Office Systems, explaining the new development. The company’s portfolio includes a series of varied services, including incoming mail and digitalisation, archiving, data destruction and making available personnel, customer management as well as cloud and BPO solutions.
Rhenus Office Systems offers its customers solutions related to document and information management. By using the latest technologies, Rhenus Office Systems develops forward-looking solutions to support its customers’ digital change process. The Rhenus subsidiary is also able to provide outsourcing for complex processes that cannot yet be digitalised at this time.
Alongside its digital products, physical services are the core business at Rhenus Office Systems. They include, for example, storing files and safely destroying data storage media. “We’re relying on innovations here too. We developed a smart security container for destroying files and data storage media with the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics (IML), for example, last year,” says Christian Schulte-Ontrop, Managing Director of Rhenus Office Systems. This makes it possible to communicate the filling levels in containers via a sensor and therefore save costs.
“We’re hoping that our customers will become increasingly aware of our entire range of services. This will be particularly successful if we amplify our brand with our own logo. However, the strength of the Rhenus Group’s network naturally continues to be very important for us. Our close links are therefore reflected in the fact that the logo has the same colour and a similar design,” Olaf Remmele, Managing Director of Rhenus Office Systems, adds.
