As part of a Christmas gift campaign, the Rhenus Group planted 1771 trees in December 2020 together with project partner Treedom. This has saved 140,445 kilograms of CO2 so far - the equivalent of 731 truckloads.

Reinforcement for Road Freight: Rhenus takes over LOXX Group

Subject to approval by the antitrust authorities, Rhenus intends to strengthen its activities in Germany and Europe with the planned takeover of the LOXX logistics group from Gelsenkirchen on 1 January 2021. Thilo Streck, Managing Director of Rhenus Freight Logistics, explains in an interview how exactly this will take place, what the further plans are and what advantages will result from the merger for both LOXX and the Rhenus Group.

The Individual Design of Complex Processes: Without borders

Anyone landing at Clark International Airport in Angeles City, north of the Philippine capital, Manila, will hardly initially suspect that a Rhenus company, founded just recently in 2017, was involved in the airport expansion. In 2019, Rhenus Commodity Logistics organised the transportation of machines and building materials from Austria, via the ARA ports, to the Philippines. Automated reach truck

High, higher, Rhenus. The automated Schubmaster RAE 200 from Toyota Material Handling has been stacking countless goods onto shelves in Rhenus’ multi-user warehouse in Dortmund since autumn 2018. Standing at eleven metres tall, the fully autonomous forklift can store or retrieve up to 30 pallets per hour.
