“recycle it”, which has its headquarters in Eppishausen near Augsburg in Bavaria, has business operations across Germany. “Through this acquisition, we’re expanding our network of competence centres and our expertise in the re-utilisation of IT assets to an even greater extent. We can now offer our customers an even more reliable range of services, not least from the point of view of waste law,” says Nils Thiemann, Managing Director of Rhenus Fecomp, a Rhenus Data Office joint venture, giving the reasons for the latest development.
“The Rhenus Group is a company that lifts our portfolio of services to a completely new level. Thanks to the takeover, we now have access to more customers that we can fully support with sustainable solutions related to the life cycle of IT devices in future,” says Maximilian Scheppach, Managing Director of “recycle it”.
In addition to recycling and remarketing IT devices, “recycle it” provides other services like registering companies with the National Register for Waste Electrical Equipment (Stiftung ear). The range of services available at “recycle it” also includes the specialist dismantling of communications and information technology devices.
Maximilian Scheppach will remain in his position as managing director of “recycle it”, even after the acquisition.
