Supporting countries from start to finish as they transition from their current transportation management system to ROCS.

My short answer is the people I’ve worked with. I still remember my first interview for a trainee position at Rhenus. ‘We will make sure that during this trainee period you’ll spend all your time learning from us.’ And that’s how it was. Here in Spain, it is not so common that companies take care of trainees as much as the Rhenus Group did when I started back in 2015. I’m very grateful for all the time they spent with me, teaching me all processes from A to Z. After my trainee period, they offered me a position in the Domestic department, and a few months later they give me the opportunity to work with an international team specifically focused on the new Rhenus Transport Management System while I was also supporting the branch management in some other tasks. I’ve learned a lot from all my colleagues, and as I said I’m very grateful to all of them.

The ROCS roll-out in several countries has been the biggest and most exciting project during my Rhenus career to date. In a project as big as this, there are a lot of people working together with a common goal, from team leaders to countries, team members, management, employees, etc. When a country can finally work with a new transport management system without constant support from our team, it is an achievement for all the people who have participated in the project.

The best tip I can give to any new colleague is the tip that they gave me when I started at Rhenus. ‘Be curious and don’t be afraid to ask.’ When you start working in a team, there’s a lot of new wording, new processes, new tools, etc... Sometimes one short quick question formulated at the right time can clarify a lot of things later. It is important to ask; nevertheless, it’s also important to be capable to share your knowledge in a simple and clear way.
