Assistant (f/m/d) to the CFO Air & Ocean Europe

You will be part of the Finance & Controlling department and, as the right hand of the CFO, you will be responsible for handling strategic and operational issues. In your role you shape international decisions through preparation and exchange ideas with colleagues from all over the world.

What you can expect

  • You work closely together with the CFO Air & Ocean Europe and support him in all relevant topics regarding in finance and controlling.
  • You also prepare and document meetings as well as the follow-up on relevant tasks.
  • Within this framework, you support the regional and local controlling department with regard to the monthly settlements.
  • Furthermore you prepare ad hoc analyses and decision memos.
  • Last but not least you work closely together with the Business Intelligence Team and further digitalise our controlling activities.

What you bring

  • You have an MBA or a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or other related fields.
  • You have 1-3 years work experience in a relevant field.
  • Additionaly, you have knowledge of the freight forwarding business (not essential, but advantageous).
  • Furthermore, you prove analytical and Excel skills.
  • You demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and have the ability to prioritize workload.
  • For you it is a matter of course to treat information confidentially.
  • Last but not least, you have the potential to collaborate and communicate with people from different cultural backgrounds and hierarchical levels..
