I am responsible for the Belgian IT helpdesk and IT Infrastructure team, servicing all legal entities that are located in Belgium or have their legal headquarters in Belgium. In addition, we support the locations of Rhenus Intermodal Systems in Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Cyprus and Luxembourg.

The diversity of all different business units with their own processes and goals. This makes the job varied every day. You do not always know ahead of time what your day will look like.

I love riding by bicycle to and from work. In the morning, it wakes you up and in the evening it’s the perfect way to wind down.

Don’t try to understand all the different entities and companies too fast. Ask your colleagues for information; they are all willing to explain things since they faced the same struggle when they started.
