What you can expect
As the Team Lead IT for one of our countries, you will drive the success of our IT infrastructure and first-level support, ensuring smooth operations for around 1,100 users across all Rhenus Business Units in the country. Positioned within our Group IT Regional Team, you are the key link between local operations and our Group IT , ensuring alignment in Projects, maintaining an up-to-date Infrastructure and a good Quality in our IT Service Management. In addition to leading the team, you’ll work hands-on alongside them. Solving complex support cases, tackling technical challenges, and actively contributing to daily operations. This role requires a balance of leadership skills and technical expertise, with a focus on fostering team collaboration and ensuring efficient operations.
- Lead and inspire a team of IT professionals, driving efficiency and best practices in IT Helpdesk and Infrastructure support.
- Oversee the management of first-level support, guaranteeing prompt and effective resolutions for all IT-related issues.
- Act as the primary IT contact for business projects involving infrastructure, working closely with stakeholders from the operational departments to deliver seamless solutions.
- Lead projects to standardize our local infrastructure in alignment with global policies, while keeping systems secure and up to date.
What you bring
- Proven experience in IT Infrastructure and Helpdesk management, ideally within a multinational environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Exceptional communication abilities in English and Italian.
- Hands-on expertise with IT infrastructure technologies and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and optimization.

Online tests, assessment centres or work on a trial basis may also be possible. In the end, the best decision is taken for both sides.
