Job Description
What you can expect
- In your role, you will proactively contact potential customers by phone and email, qualify leads using CRM systems, and manage opportunities through to handover or direct quotation.
- You will prepare and follow up on tailored offers, including follow-up calls, while working closely with the field sales, tender management, and pricing team to develop suitable logistics solutions.
- You will maintain accurate customer data in the CRM and support the planning and implementation of sales campaigns, mailings, and trade fair participation.
- You will participate in internal sales meetings to align on customer targeting and strategies, while continuously monitoring the market and competitors for new business opportunities.
- Additionally, you will qualify inbound leads from marketing activities and prepare basic pricing calculations to support a smooth and efficient sales process.
What you bring
- You have successfully completed a commercial training, ideally in the field of freight forwarding or logistics services.
- First experience in inside sales or operational air / sea freight is an advantage.
- Naturally, you enjoy speaking with customers and have strong communication skills, especially over the phone.
- A structured and goal-oriented mindset defines your way of working, and you are able to work independently.
- You are confident using MS Office and CRM systems. German fluency is essential, and English skills are beneficial.

Selection Process
Depending on the position, there are various ways of finding out if we are a good match for each other. In most cases, we rely on a personal interview, on a eye level of course. Online tests, assessment centres or work on a trial basis may also be possible. In the end, the best decision is taken for both sides.
